Japanese-American artist iamkyami has teamed up with Lazygirl for her new single, ‘When I Call’. It’s a funky piece of pop that gifts us with endlessly uplifting synth melodies and glittering textures that feel powered by bouncy pop prowess. The two vocalists admit that at first, they didn’t know what the song was about. “We had all these lyrics which basically sounded like a lesbian love song (which I wasn't mad about) but PLOT TWIST, in the bridge, we discover that we're both singing about going out with the same f*ckboi,” explains iamkyami.
